FD Connect connects fire department CAD dispatch with the operational data your department already maintains. Available CAD data can create the incident, notify members, surface active pre-plans and nearby hydrants, and carry the same incident forward into incident reporting and NERIS V1 compatible workflows.
Start with the call
When supported CAD or dispatch information is received, FD Connect can create the incident and carry available information such as address, incident type, dispatch comments, and location coordinates into the record. FD Connect is not a CAD system.
Active pre-plans and nearby hydrants
When an incoming incident matches an address with an active pre-plan, members can see that intelligence in the incident notification and open the pre-plan from the incident. When hydrant data is stored in FD Connect, nearby water supply, distance, and available flow information can appear on the incident map.
One incident through NERIS reporting
The same incident continues into fire department incident reporting so crews complete remaining details without starting from a blank report. NERIS V1 Compatible means technical compatibility with the NERIS V1 API on Core plans and above.
